ERFC has received awards for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for fiscal year 2023 from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). This is the 27th consecutive award for the ACFR and the fifth consecutive award for the PAFR.
The ACFR received GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, which recognizes excellence in governmental accounting and financial reporting. ERFC’s ACFR was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
The PAFR received an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for its summary of financial, investment, and statistical information derived from the comprehensive report.
